A part-time knitting teacher, Laura is a serious yarn and pattern collector. There's not a category on
ravelry which she hasn't gone over with a fine tooth comb. With 602 queued projects and another 438
ravelry faves, Laura will need ten lifetimes to knit through all of her planned projects. With all the
projects she hopes to knit, you'd think Laura was more of a product knitter than a process oriented one.
But she'd rather rip out errors than hide mistakes and takes pains to make each stitch look great. The mom of school-age twins, she's working on a hooded henley for her son and a sweater coat for her
daughter. But Laura generally favors small projects, so she can finish up and move on to another
skein. Color has been her motivator in all her crafty endeavors, so hats, gloves and scarves allow her
to play with a variety of colors, textures and fibers and get through all the patterns on her growing list.

"I can never resist blues and greens, so the True Love Fiber
"Natalina" colorway was an easy choice for me. I barely blocked it, because
I wanted to enjoy this as a scarf. The yarn is cozy, and I wanted to wear it
right up next to my skin!" |
